The Yes We Adopt: Black Voices Amplified Summit is a one-day, in-person event focused on educating, empowering, and elevating the Black adoption community. Whether you are a parent, an adoptee, an adoption professional, or just beginning your journey, we provide a space for healing, learning, and open conversations.
You will hear heartfelt origin stories from Black adoptees, insights from both adoptive and birth parents, authentic discussions on navigating adoption with cultural pride, live panels, keynote speakers, and opportunities for networking.

1. What is the date, time and location of the summit?
Date & Time
The summit will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, tentatively between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
Location
The summit will be held in central New Jersey, approximately 60 miles from New York City and Philadelphia, PA. The venue and location have yet to be finalized.
2. What is the cost to attend the summit?
General admission tickets for the summit will be $75-$100 and includes access to all sessions, the keynote speaker, breakfast, and lunch, and vendors. Discounts will be provided for early bird registration.
3. When does registration open?
Registration for the summit will open on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 12:00 PM. Join the Summit Interest List to be notified once registration goes live.
4. Who will attend the summit?
More than 125 individuals representing the Black adoption and fostering constellation (community), including adopted persons, former fostered persons, birth/first parents, kinship / foster / adoptive (same-race and transracial) families, persons interested in fostering or adoption, as well as advocates, and professionals will attend the summit.
5. How long has the summit been in existence?
This year marks the 5th Annual Yes We Adopt: Black Voices Amplified Summit – and the 3rd year we’re gathering in person. This year’s theme is “Becoming Whole Together”.
